Access to Winterland is free, with no admission charge. All official Winterland sales outlets, with the exception of the Christmas Market, will operate in cashless mode, accepting payment exclusively by credit card, debit card or via TWINT.
Those who wish to pay in cash can load a prepaid card, the Winterland Card, which can be used at all official event sales points, with the exception of the Christmas Market. The card is available at the Infopoint located in Piazza Magnolia (next to the Post Office).
Glass bottles are forbidden in the entire village of Winterland.

Getting there by public transport
We recommend arriving by public transport, see timetables on ffs.ch. Winterland is easily accessible on foot in approx. 7 minutes from the Locarno SBB railway station, which is only 30 minutes from Lugano and approx. 2 hours from Zurich by train. Getting there by car
Parking spaces around Winterland are limited and often subject to a charge. To park your vehicle indoors, the nearest car parks are Parking Centro Castello and Parking Centro Locarno.
